Armin Brenner and Jonas Wansing have been working on a small series of furniture pieces for the last weeks re-using overproduction, prototypes and defect pieces from the retail industry.
Nearly all parts of every object have been reused from different temporary retail installations.
The results were shown in an exhibition, introduced with a lecture by Ruth Scheel on sustainability in the retail sector.
Jonas Wansing is an interdisciplinary designer with a focus on product design.
After studying in Münster and Valencia, he is involved in several cultural projects and currently based in Stuttgart.
Armin Brenner has studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences Schwäbisch Gmünd and is the Founder of NEW LETTERS a Studio for typography and design. His work is influenced by a deep impact of typography between the intersection of art and design.
